This IDC Survey focuses on German companies' expectations and behavior concerning IoT solutions in 2016. It also discusses organizational impact, IoT strategies, budget, integration, security, cloud and analytics, and sourcing intentions. For that, 225 German companies were surveyed.

Additionally, market data about the German IoT market (IoT spending for connectivity, hardware, software and services) as well as the top sectors and use cases in terms of market share and growth is provided.

This presentation is based on the results of the IDC Global IoT Decision Maker Survey, which involved 1,160 companies with more than 100 employees across Europe (Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Nordics, and the U.K.), carried out between July and August 2016.
